Just because everyone would be drawn into war doesn't mean they can't join. It just makes it so everyone is less likely to agree. if russa attacks a nato member (the baltic states?) Nato will bring ukraine in quickly because then they are already at war an ukrain has too many useful places to launch an attack on russia from.

@autumn_[email protected] or they have to make it affordable because insurance doesn't cover it.

I know what you mean but I don't think it is quite that clear and in this case useful to remind people of the other meanings. If nothing else to think about it even if they reject them the thinking is good.

's a rare case in America where post-WW2 greenfield housing or commercial developments pay sufficient tax to maintain the municipal services those developments require.

that is the strongtowns message but it is false. suburbs have existed since the streetcars and in that time added rebuilt the roads many time added and replaced many pipes. If you assume everything needs to be replaced every 20 years as accounting depreciation does it can look like the money isn't there but most things last longer and even where they don't it is often only a partial replacement needed and so the rebuild is much cheaper.

You are a statistic. The question isn't do you exist but how many of you exist. When there is enough money to be made by serving people like you with fewer ads someone will do it. Until then though you are not worth the money it costs too keep you so good riddance.

of course the above is why some demographics don't watch much tv. They somewhat care but not enough to serve those demographict.

may I suggest you take up tatting, mandolin, welding, bike riding... there are a long list of other things you can do with your time either on a theme/variation from above or not mentioned. These are all hobbies and you can find some to fill all that time you free o up.

Everything they are doing has known algorithms. Some are np problems though, but ai isn't any better for those than the existing algorithyms. but ai is hype today so everyone needs to do it. In a few years this will die off and ai will be used for where it is useful. Just like every other ai that has been a fad for a while since 1950.

Rev 22:18 NET testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book

I always object to adding anything to the bible. It is fine to want a printed constitution but it should be a separate book.

Sure along with ever other translation I can find. I prefer the geneva translation but that is hard to find so I often end up with the king james when I need a printed copy. for those not familar, the good parts of king james is where they took the geneva and updated to modern english - this should tell you something about my tastes.

Apply political pressure. Though of course there are downsides of that too.

The first amber alert I got woke me up at 2am. Next morning the kid was discovered - with the parent who had legal custody the whole time. Because of that situation my state almost never issues amber alerts and when they do a lot more time is wasted verifying that it is a real problem (wasted because it is a real problem when time counts - I have no idea how often it isn't wasted because the investigation discovered it wasn't a real issue)

No this is a regular 120 volt trimmer. My dad had one like it from the laie 1970's.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

No, it is just different enough that a regular socket won'tly fit. It is close enough that the special cord can be used for other things.

Seventh Amendment - In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, [snip]

I'm surprised arbitration holds up. I can believe the court say it comes first and the reasoning of arbitration should be given to the jury along with instructions that they can disbar a lawyer who tries to reverse something the arbitration decides when arbitration was correct, but ultimately the right to a jury trial is required.
