I don’t think this is a politically motivated case. Rather more of a procedural case. This looks like the SC really analyzing how a law was written and ensuring the letter of the law is applied. Kind of part of their job. Considering the article is reposting reporting from Epoch Times, known for having a conservative bias, I think this article is politically motivated to make the President look inept. It should also be noted that all of the liberal justices agreed with her!

It's a nothing burger. the appeal was arguing that a lower judge went overboard with the sentencing (requiring that multiple charges be served consecutively, in sentencing. Partly citing the sentencing requirement that using a firearm means that that charge must not be served consecutive with any others)

the thing is, that the original judge was well within his rights to decide they were to be served consecutively rather than concurrently.

@dawee88 Any time it's a 9-0 decision, it's not really about siding with conservatives or liberals.
