It's a nothing burger. the appeal was arguing that a lower judge went overboard with the sentencing (requiring that multiple charges be served consecutively, in sentencing. Partly citing the sentencing requirement that using a firearm means that that charge must not be served consecutive with any others)

the thing is, that the original judge was well within his rights to decide they were to be served consecutively rather than concurrently.
