If your data you want to save is super important you should follow these steps:

Have your data on 3 copies.

Have 2 different medias like an usb or another drive

Have a copy in another location ( another room doesnt count )

Totally agree, as written in the community description the 3-2-1 strategy is one of the best.

Unfortunately people tend to consider "cloud" = backup, which isn’t in most cases.

I hope this community can help many people find the right method to manage all their most important data and their digital identity.
