To be honest i am with flixgribv, i dont like shorts and i dont want to start to do it to get such information. As otherwise he could just do only tiktok.

[–] Rooki 1 points 1 week ago

Yep those are some of the issues we have upgrading for now. + some performance issues we found on various other instances and we dont know if this will be affecting us even more with our size.

I could 100% say this is a possibility in america. ( Except the "we'll bring her to office" part lol )

[–] Rooki 1 points 1 week ago

UBlock stopped working on edge + youtube since that announcement.

Sadly this was told about other "Stable" releases like 0.19.1 or .2 where critical bugs where easily found that either broke federation and other stuff.

Many things doesnt even really affect the user but is a burden on the administrative / hosting side, for example the weirdly and buggy report list ( that is still on 0.19.3 ), it can be expected that we will again wait few releases for any critical bugs reported by the instances using it.

And the browser rather Firefox based ( or at least any browser that supports mv2 ) and yes all of the branches of chromium will not be able to support mv2 forever as google will literally remove it from chromium next year.

[–] Rooki 8 points 1 week ago (6 children)

Hi,

we will check if an upgrade is doable, but before that we need to check if any Critical Bugs or Performance issues are affecting 0.19.5. Our focus is on Stability.

Thanks
Rooki

Hello,

in short no, as we dont want to micro manage a whitelist of allowed VPN ips. Otherwise bad actors could abuse the allowed VPN ips and still post bad stuff.

See: https://lemmy.world/post/19203819

Thanks

I dont get what you are saying tbh i never said EU made the laws in there, you just repeat what i (indirect) told. That UK no longer have / follow those rules / regulations / recommendations from the EU.

We are back! (self.lwmc)

Hello world!

as the title says the server is BACK! It is hosted under a new server! The same map and your inventory is the same!

Domain is the same: minecraft.lemmy.world

Bedrock: minecraft.lemmy.world:1027

Please note: The new server is hosted in the USA so if you are joining from the EU please expect higher than before ping! This can not be avoided as the generous hoster doesnt have a server in the EU.

The generous hoster is @[email protected], thanks to him all this is possible.

The home limits are increased and there will be for everyone who wants it a new spawn where you can build from.

Thanks everyone

Hello World, As many of you have probably noticed, there is a growing problem on the internet when it comes to undisclosed bias in both amateur and professional reporting. While not every outlet can be like the C-SPAN, or Reuters, we also believe that it's impossible to remove the human element from the news, especially when it concerns, well, humans.

To this end, we've created a media bias bot, which we hope will keep everyone informed about WHO, not just the WHAT of posted articles. This bot uses Media Bias/Fact Check to add a simple reply to show bias. We feel this is especially important with the US Election coming up. The bot will also provide links to Ground.News, as well, which we feel is a great source to determine the WHOLE coverage of a given article and/or topic.

As always feedback is welcome, as this is a active project which we really hope will benefit the community.

Thanks!
