Well, for every one living configuration of your body there are billions of dead ones. So I'd argue being dead is the natural state of things and being alive the exception. And as Buddhism acknowledges: Live is suffering and every living thing is trying to avoid suffering.

Therefore get your dirty necromancers hands off my happy cold dead body!!!
