Brother it’s really not that deep. It’s not like I’m casting a moral judgement, I’m just voicing a pet peeve of mine lol
Sister, I guess the ridiculous melodrama of my phrasing didn't cue you into that I'm just teasing.
God I hate the internet, almost as much as I hate prescriptivists.
Poe's law and all, I could easily imagine someone saying that seriously. That type of sarcasm doesn't translate into the Internet as well as saying something completely absurd and unreasonable. Even then people will probably still misinterpret it. Internet sarcasm is hard.
Tbf, some people are ridiculously melodramatic.
