Been running OMV 5 for like 3 years now. Before that was plain Debian. Most likely will go back to Debian in the future. OMV has some weird ways it manages disks and caused me some effort getting snapraid to work 'easily'.
Docker compose on OMV here. Haven't tried snap because docker has everything.
