The expected values. It doesn't necessarily mean the game is limited to 60 fps, but 60 is a common target to aim for. Knowing what specs you need to achieve it, given your resolution, is quite nice.
They did it so they can sell more data from requiring a PSN account, also just more money from people buying it, I guess.
Really? I would think the biggest problem Lemmy users have with Epic is their business practices, not a lack of social features.

I don't know anyone who uses steam chat or parties instead of something like Discord, so I'm not sure it really matters.
I played one of the alphas, the extraction mode is good, the battlefield like mode... eh, not really my cup of tea.
Why? It has one of the biggest modding communities in gaming, so there's a lot for people to like about it still, assuming they're fine with modding it.
