I was diagnosed with ADD around 1997. I was prescribed Ritalin and eventually switched to concerta. None of the adults involved in that process checked in with me at all. I remember being scream-accused of not taking my medicine when I was in fact taking the meds. Funny how in a sea of lost memories, that one persisted.
