I'd love to see this community grow and flourish. Tell me about yourself! How long have you been a Cubs fan? Why are you a fan? Favorite players? Best moments you've seen live?

I'm a little weird - I've only been a Cubs fan for 8-9 years, about a year before they got good. I am not from Chicago but I never felt a strong draw to my hometown teams so I let myself be neutral and was drawn to the Cubbies. I liked Theo's process and I love seeing the underdog win (and long droughts broken!).

I loved a lot of the 2010s Cubs, but my favorite was Kris Bryant. He played with such joy and every time I saw him fielding a ground ball he had such a pure grin on his face. I've only been to two Cubs games in person and they lost both but I'll have to get back to Chicago again soon!

Nice, that feels so good when you solve your own problem like that. I've opened my laptop many times before but I haven't dealt with an actual desktop - I'd have the same fears as you

Why do you personally prefer using an Android phone? in c/android

I feel very constricted using Apple. Everything from the OS to any plug has to be theirs, their way. Android gives me choices and more freedom. It's kinda awkward when a bunch of my friends have iPhones and I'm the one android messing up the group chat colors for them but it's well worth that sacrifice
