Following the odyssey mentioned in https://lemmyrs.org/post/87787 and the discussion with users.rust-lang.org mods, I have concluded that the simplest and most sustainable way to solve this is a GitHub org where companies can post jobs and regular Rust developers on GitHub participate in moderation. GitHub provides different models of content structure and isn't restrained by what's possible in a Lemmy or Discourse thread.

To that end, I welcome anyone interested in moderating job posts to comment here for an invite to the org.

I have created a GitHub org for Rust jobs and invite interested moderators to comment in this ticket.

I have seen companies post jobs in git repositories (e.g. GitHub). So maybe as something by and for developers, and a way to filter out recruiter spam, as a community we could maintain a repo with one GitHub issue per Rust release, inspired by Awesome Rust lists.

I have proposed this on the official Rust users forum too, where votes are in favor, and the decision by mods is pending.

Edit: Discourse thread structure doesn't fit this purpose, and because it's more natural to use a platform where more developers are found, I have created a GitHub org and invite everyone interested to comment here.
