That's like saying that since you never see deer ticks except with deer, they are the same animal as the deer. Just because things commonly appear together does not mean they are the same.
Eh .. capitalism is an economic model, fascism is political. One may enable or encourage the other, but I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say they are the same.

Instead of being sure you don't offend someone, just make sure you didn't mean to offend someone. If someone does get offended and can't gracefully accept an apology, they weren't going to make a good friend anyway.

Here's the one I saw the other day, but if you Google "inmate McDonald's slavery" a bunch come up from other sources. Basically they pay minimum wage, the prison takes a cut, the prison also charges the inmates a fee, and the prison also withholds privileges if they refuse.
So, taxpayer paid housing then. But it's ok because it comes with suffering. Seriously, I'm sure an apartment would be cheaper than jail and probably make everyone involved a lot happier. But no, that would be "socialism". Besides, this way the jail can rent them out to McDonald's. (I wish I was joking on that)
