The list is compiled by the MPA, a group that represents studios, etc. They work with our government, and to which degree I have no concrete idea, (edit: a trade association is supposed to work with governments on behalf of it's members) but they merely submitted this list to our government. That's according to the article and the torrent freak source.

I think the article wasn't being clear and other comments seem to agree.

Sorry, I was throwing shade at how they twisted their words. The person is talking about people who go on LinkedIn and boast about Ubisoft failing "directly" to the employees. Not really a 'gamers are the problem and that's why we failed' but a 'hey everybody, stop talking about our failures and look over there at these terrible people'

I don't see where gamers are referred to as non decent humans. But I have reading comprehension so maybe the article isn't aimed at me.

I think "end of history" is a bigger deal than hysteria or overreactions. People should be more concerned with things like climate change, fascism, capitalism, or systemic inequality. A lot of people have this thing in the back of their mind where they "know" nothing will ever change, and it poisons the way they think of the world over time.
