I just paid $250 at the dentist, literally just for a check-up, a quick clean, and a fluoride treatment ($30). What the heck... I swear last time that was $150... T_T

Hello all, just wanted y'all's opinion on sales. I'm looking to buy a super nice swanky coat but I'm not in a rush, I'm happy to wait for end of winter sales. However I'm wondering if the EOFY sales deals will be better than the end of season ones (plus I've been seeing so many winter sales already? are they just EOFY sales?)

I recently bought a fancy rice cooker (upgraded from the trusty cheapo kmart one button one), and this one has a smaller cup capacity (3c instead of 6 or 10) which is perfect for 2 people who don't need huge quantities of rice. Plus it made amazing rice, including brown rice which I've never managed to cook well before! Very happy hehe

I am not, sadly! At the moment my self image is pretty fragile, I would not be able to brush off a bad cut or colour :')

I looked around on some other salons, and they quote between 150 to 200 ish (without treatments like Olaplex etc, which seem to be another 70$ on top). I think I might ask around for salon recs, I remember I did a full ombre on long hair like 5 or 6 years ago and it was 300, roughly. (I know things are more expensive now but the jump to almost 600, for short hair, seems just crazy).

I got quoted 520 to 580$ to do a pink ombre on virgin hair (pretty short, just below chin length) and I know they use Olaplex etc, but that feels excessive? Am I wrong?
