Oh no they listened, haven't met anyone that didn't.

I don't think they typically want to have a convo? But I can't say.

lol, I also stay away from asking people that look like they'll cause me trouble. I could try being extra polite, but I have a very "I-can-whoop-this-kid"-kinda face, lol.

typically they listen and just stay on their phone afterwards

it always gets my blood pressure high after the rest of the ride though :/ and I keep replaying what I said

It takes me a while to see how enraged I get with it. I always have to wonder if I can take a punch from that person.

I once joked, "hey that's pretty loud isn't it?" And instead of them taking the hint, they were startled and were like, what's going on? and I instead I just go, "excuse me, could you turn that down?" now. Direct approach is better.

Aren't inverted commas also a phrase for that? Or is that the joke.

I think a lot of the Batman connections were completely unnecessary and felt jarring. There weren't that many and they were brief but I just wish they weren't there at all. It's a great film flaws and all to me.

I put Requiem in the category movies of "Best Films I'll Never See Again". "The Skin I Live In" is in there too.

Agreed, I felt the "monster" or evil behind the door was better left a mystery for a later movie or something else. The heart of the movie to me was the relationship between the characters.

The father-son-daughter struggle for an ending would have been better to me. I think Marvel can take risks but they need to take risks like not having a third act battle all the bloody time!

We love you Morty!

Infinity War, Wandavision, first Ant-Man is solid, Guardians of the Galaxy, Winter Soldier, Unbreakable ... does Chronicle count?

I think Shang Chi was good up until the MCU ending up until the third-act it felt like a completely different type of film which is what I was happy about

I remember LTT wanting to find out the damage that wireless or fast charging does but found that the way we charge our phones mattered more or something: https://youtu.be/AF2O4l1JprI

I found the segment and may have summarized it incorrectly but I can't rewatch the video entirely right now.

I eventually want to see Megalopolis too.

I like watching art house movies and then figuring out what I don't like about it. Even the ones everyone loves. Magnolia was one people loved and I just didn't get.

It's a story from April, I tried seeing if it was posted before, however it's the story about how the advertising and finance team beat the search team into submission by ousting the core person protecting it to pursue "growth" and "revenue" at all costs.

Just popped up in my feed. I loved Starship Troopers as a kid, not knowing the satire underneath. Anyways, it's a nice interview.
