The FDA banned the use of Red Dye #3 in cosmetics over 30 years ago because it causes cancer in animal models. But it was never banned in food. That is either beholden to big business, downright stupid, or both. More info here: https://www.consumerreports.org/health/food-additives/red-dye-3-banned-in-cosmetics-but-still-allowed-in-food-a3467381365/

I hate Elon maybe even more than the next guy, but there are some major exaggerations here:

Starlink makes tons of maneuvers to avoid collisions: https://www.space.com/starlink-satellite-conjunction-increase-threatens-space-sustainability

Starlink is at an orbit that they are quickly returning to Earth and burning up on re-entry: https://cybernews.com/news/starlink-lost-200-satellites/

For number 4 (or maybe a new number), if a(x) and b(x) are constant, the derivatives d/dx a(x) and d/dx b(x) are zero, so all that is left is that d/dx becomes a partial derivative and can move inside the integral.

So this seemed so very cool that I wanted to learn more. There were a few problems, however. The direction of Nishimura is traveling opposite to what this video shows. I eventually found this video is from Comet Encke back in 2007 as observed by STEREO-A. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Encke_tail_rip_off.ogv

Well I can't be that mad even though I was tricked because this is a really cool video and I learned some new things. Nishimura did go through a tail disconnection event. But buyer beware, eh?

Yep, that's the danger of Googling something without a proper background. There is a season pass that the general public can buy, but it is quite different from the Cast Member version. https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/cm-silver-pass-question.906317/ versus https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passholder-program/benefits-of-becoming-a-passholder/

This is a standard perk for Disney employees. Reddy Creek providing it to the fire firefighters was basically an acknowledgement that the fire fighters were Disney employees. Disney was explicitly in charge of Reddy Creek so that made some sense. Desantis ripped Reddy Creek away from Disney to win political points, and is now hurting the firefighters, apparently just for fun, in his continued vendetta.

No I don't think their perk is $1400. If it is a Cast Member Silver Pass, they can get three people plus themselves in to any park every day of the year for free. If you have family come over it's more than $100 per person per day. These tickets always include a Park Hopper option, adding another $40-50 in cost. If you use this perk 20 times per year for 3+1 people (which is definitely within reason), that would be more than $8000 and up to $12000 if you include the Park Hopper option. Maybe you could get that cheaper with season passes, but those are tied to an individual. $1400 is way, way off .

they enact policies that hurt others (something their voting base for some reason enjoys)

Let's just say it - they enjoy hurting others because they are cruel if not downright evil. I'm not being dramatic here, that's just by definition. Intentional cruelty has no place in government and they need to be stopped again and again and again like they were last night. To prevent being targeted by sport for the entertainment of these cruel fucks, vote in every single election you can - they certainly will.

Ackthually no that is incorrect https://www.masterclass.com/articles/capital-vs-capitol

Capital: The word “capital” can refer to money, uppercase letters, the death penalty, and capital cities that house a seat of government.
Capitol: The word “capitol” always refers to a physical capitol building (such as the US Capitol building) or the area surrounding it (such as Capitol Hill).
