Has Reddit usage gone down in the past few weeks since the API change or has it returned to normal?

Yup, you’re right I wasn’t even thinking about that.

He mentioned that he’s on Twitter and Mastodon in his farewell post. Maybe he’ll create a 3rd party app for one of those?

Oh I didn’t see the Add button in the change account settings section at first, thanks!

Seeing that when you go to your Feed in Memmy and at the top there’s a drop-down for your account I would think this is a feature that’ll be developed in the future.

Hi, thanks for all the wonderful updates! Two things I noticed.

  1. I’m still unable to see anything in the Profile tab. This is what appears: (maybe I’m doing something wrong)

  2. I’m not seeing the “@“ when the keyboard pops up on search:

Really awesome! The way you painted the light in gives it so much depth and realism!

Big fan of the green bokeh in the background! It definitely makes the main subject pop a lot more.

The double take was for the right hand somehow scrunched up in the left elbow.

You can still access and interact with communities in other instances even if you signed up with the Lemmy.world instance. Not sure if that’s why you wanted to create an account on another instance or not. But as the other user mentioned, there should be a way within settings.

I gave Mastodon a small chance a couple weeks ago and just hopped on Lemmy today and I can already tell (at least as of right now) I prefer Lemmy as a platform. I'll definitely give Mastodon another chance but I just couldn't really get into it. I think I agree with you on the fact that the content seems to federate better on Lemmy.
