I so feel you, I don't know what I'll do if my THC edibles stop working - I use the kind with 5mg THC + 5mg CBN and sometimes lately I do pop awake through them. And I think that good pre-sleep hygiene is important, like lack of screens/caffeine/take a warm bath etc, but if those things weren't the problem to start with, they are unlikely to be the full solution even if they're helpful in setting the mood.

I did notice the other night that my sleep edible kicked in unreasonably quickly for some reason and in the midst of trying to negotiate my night routine while uncomfortably high, I accidentally took a second 5mg gummy because the jar was still sitting next to my night supplements and I was operating on muscle memory. I did sleep like a rock that entire night, I think I got 9 hours. I don't want to double my dose again, but maybe taking 7.5mg instead of just 5 will help? Have you tried upping your THC dose to check?

Hormones are such an adjustment when we first introduce them because they interact with so many other hormones and other biochemical pathways in intricate ways, it's always a toss-up if we'll feel instantly better or worse or have weird transition issues! I had some oily skin and acne for a few weeks while my body was working out the testosterone transition, then that all disappeared completely despite staying on that same dose. Other women on the sub never had that transition at all. If you do feel weird, as long as it doesn't feel like anything truly dangerous, I'd stick with it 6 weeks or so before making any adjustments up or down in dose.

It's not a bad thing to start with 1mg/day - 7mg/week is within the range of normal starting doses. I started at 2mg/day of the transdermal gel and it worked well and I'm now at 2.5mg/day, but it's been 2 years of creeping upwards.

Hey, any chance we can reopen the sub long enough to retrieve our saved posts? I had a catalog of saved posts that contained dosage info, charts, publication links and product links that I referred to all the time - all of those are gone and I'd love to be able to copy them to save for reading off-reddit.
