Alan Pope was a fantastic community manager, but as the headline says he left.
I’m happy to see him still in this sphere, contributing to a fine cause

To me third party apps is what made Reddit special. Now Reddit is just another social media platform, so I’m staying far away.

I’m enjoying pixel pals though, and I recommend others give it a go too

Ditched for day to day browsing, but still use it for tiny communities that have yet to move to a different platform

Always end back on safari. Solid privacy defaults while still working perfectly for most websites.
Other browsers, like Orion, keeps stopping important websites from working

I keep trying Wayland and it works so well until it suddenly don’t.

Just two weeks ago I tried again and used it fulltime for a few days. In 90% of cases it’s better than X, but when something goes wrong 10% then it’s too much.

Essentially I had mad flickering in various games and random black screens for a few seconds every now and then in FFXIV.

Kagi is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend giving it ago. Gives me better results than google while having a fair privacy policy

That’s a shame! Hopeful we’ll see something in the future. Regardless, thank you for the app
