My understanding is that we need to sell players to help with ffp. Related to ffp, I think we paid too much for Antony last summer IMO. He works hard, and he works both sides (defense and offense) but his output is low. Maybe he trains this summer to shoot with booth feets... in any case we do need to both offload payroll (David) to help with Marcus new contract (is it signed yet??) and sell other players to help us get a striker and gk with 90 mil left. (assuming 150 mil limit, 60 mil for Mount). Fred being possibly sold for 15 helps a bit. Who else can be sold? Not sure anyone wants to buy Harry in a way for us not to have to pay his salary... what a mess...

So now, do we sell one or two midfielders? Fred or McTom?

I assume that this leans to what you use vscode for.

In my case, it replaced Jedit, Emacs, Notepad++ as the tool for working with text and some source code. "Real" Development is handled by Visual Studio.

So it's used as a scratch pad, documentation snippets, formatting various XML/JSON snippets...

In my context, my favorites are: 'Markdown Preview Mermaid', it's much faster for quickies than Visio. I also use the "Edit csv" (for all the inevitable CSV files, yeah yeah, Excell...) and "SQL server" to replace SSMS (faster load time...)

Been using Cobalt2 for awhile, it's a bit dark, with nice contrast, but not loud!

Fonts used are, in order: Hack, Fira Code,Source Code Pro

I am tying Everforest dark, feels calm to me... let's see how it fares after a week of work!

Most projects written as a Demo, are still in production 3 years later. Still waiting for the "real" solution.

If you spend a lot of time thinking of future options, nobody will ever need them.

If you spend more time on the API with a partner, the partner will be replaced, probably before the solution is installed at all locations.

I think each choice has to be even more budget friendly than previous years. The Gaffer will not have the room to blow the budget that he was able to push last year (that's what it felt like last summer).

Also, I do think that the 2 young midfielders is a good thing, at a bad time for it too leak. Good teams recruit for now, but also for the future. Example: we had nobody to replace Carrick, went for EOL (end of life) Matic, and ... void... There should have been recruitment for a young player 3-4 years before Carrick turned 30. Same with Matic...

So, it looks awful that we have "nothing" in the basket but some young pups, but we need balance.

For me 55 is the max, TransferMarkt est value is 65. This is his last year, and they want to offload. I like Mount as a "Value Deal" not at "Retail". Nothing against Mount as a player, I like his hard work, and he does not seem to loose the ball as often as Fred. Not as physical as Fred (not physical at all). I don't think that Mason and Bruno in some more physical games will work, kind of like Eriksen... Better engine than Eriksen.

So, this could be a tactic to move things along, kind of like saying to David, "Fish or cut bait"... Either sign and commit to MANU or move along to Saudi Arabia (I think that's were he got an offer, like CR7)

Recruiting needs to be fully awake, not a lot of $, but a lot of requirements. GK, ST, midfielders...

Is a "retain list" provided by all PL teams by a certain time?

The car is too small.....

14 minutes into the match. Inter are very pretty to watch. High tempo. Will they maintain?

Are you going to watch this match live? Predictions?

Man United fan here, not sure yet if I will watch. Not sure if it's bias, but I find City boring to watch. They have great players. I don't mind watching Liverpool (yeah, yeah, my "superfan card" should be revoked...).

For predictions, hoping for a tight game. Inter is playing better in the last few weeks. Same can be said for City, since Pep changed / tweaked his lineup.
