I hate to be the reasonable one, especially on Lemmy where anti-Israel propaganda is just so hot right now, but it's both.

Israel is committing genocide, its horrible and disgusting. Hamas was/is very intentionally using civilians as shields. Israeli leadership and Hamas are both monsters. Their proxy backers, like Iran and the US, also share blame.

I hope it ok to ask this question here. Why don't we build a large nuclear power plant in a remote, tectonically-stable region and use it to produce massive amounts of hydrogen through electrolysis? Seems as if this could let us produce cheap fuel cells that could be used for all kinds of things.
