@[email protected] pre-rendered backgrounds meaning the 3D power could be concentrated on the character models. Wonderful looking game that I bought pretty sharpish on release and it made me jump several times. But how on earth did we accept tank controls as normal? ๐Ÿ˜†

@[email protected] Quick recap, loved 1 & 2, enjoyed the 2016 reboot and loved Afterlife.

Frozen Empire is a lot of fun but maybe leans too hard on original cast cameos. (Maybe give them a rest now, go your own way.) James Acaster is criminally under-used.

Not quite as good as Afterlife but still very enjoyable for this biased Ghostbusters fan.

It makes me laugh that I learnt where most of the film was shot but I won't spoil anything.

@[email protected] considering the horsepower of the Wii compared to the PS3 and Xbox360, going for cartoon caricatures of the cast was a good choice and the game is no less fun to play than its big brother counterparts.

Oh hang on, just read this it's easier... ๐Ÿ˜†

@innkeeper @the_gamer_tavern I'm getting stuck into MudRunner: Expeditions but I'm wondering if the physics has changed compared to SnowRunner. Something definitely feels different. Going to persevere though.

@[email protected] Yeah the sequel is good but can't quite match the original.

The third game I played a lot on PS3 but haven't completed it. I may do at some point as I have the trilogy in my PSN library.

@[email protected] There's something about the original Bioshock I just love. I think it's simply the beautiful designs of the slowly rusting and leaking underwater art deco city.

We came very close to getting an R rated horror based on the game but it was cancelled just before filming was due to start.

Netflix announced a live action film a few years ago but I don't think anything has happened since.

@[email protected] My friend went all in. He even got hold of the CD add-on drive!

@[email protected] At the time, I had owned an Atari ST for a few years. I loved it but was jealous of the games on my friends Amiga.

Then another friend turned up to the computer club (yes, I'm that nerdy) with his Atari Jaguar.

AvP and Tempest 2000 blew me away and I desperately wanted that machine.

What stopped me? My Dad said he didn't want be getting a games console, would I prefer a PC instead? ๐Ÿ˜
