Maybe try wefwef.app for the Apollo experience or mlmym for the old reddit design.

Here's a nice overview of different lemmy UIs: https://blog.erlend.sh/lemmy-frontend-alternatives-are-popping-off

There are plenty more, and I'm positiv that in a month or two we'll have really good looking apps. (e.g. Artemis)

Is anyone visiting from a lemmy instance, if yes which one?

I've found some very interesting UIs for lemmy, but on the instances that I checked, [email protected] couldn't be found.

Old reddit Ui for lemmy: https://mlmym.org/lemmy.world/
Apollo Ui for lemmy: https://wefwef.app/posts/lemmy.world/all

Apparently there are some issues with the ddos protection of kbin.social that hinders federation.

In theory.
But in practice not all content is synced compeltely, and definitely not real time.

Additionally, some instances are already defederating.

Sign in with Ethereum (or something like PGP) does not interact with the blockchain. You simply sign a message with your private key.

Works for kbin as well.

One thing a lot of people do not like about the fediverse is that you can only sign in on the instance you signed up on.

If only there was a simple solution, a way to login everywhere and ensure that it's always the same person.
Something public that could identify the person and something private the person could use to prove it's them.

Soo.. Who's going to build 'sign in with Ethereum' (or public/private keys) for the fediverse?

Trying to find the time to read it, but will hopefully do so (and finish it) within the next two weeks.

Will you create a new weekly? :D
I've checked out kbin APIs but to be honest it was very sad.
Maybe we can automate the creation of the weekly.

There's also https://wefwef.app/
I don't think it works for kbin yet, but it does for lemmy.

And it basically looks and feels like Apollo.

Great idea with the weekly, especially in the beginning.
I'll be on vacation for a while but once I'm back I'll see if I can make the nitter bot work on here as well if that's something you guys want.

Additionally I highly recommend the ethfinance buddy extension: https://github.com/etheralpha/ethfinance-extension
It as a few kbin features as well like automatically sort by newest. It even shows the amount of doots in here. wow.

@MrVodnik

@cryptOwOcurrency

The question is: Is a perma daily a good or a bad thing?
I kinda like the seperation of the dailys into.. well days. Makes it easier to catch up from being offline a few days or check out the threads from interesting days.
People will not post here AND in the daily.
