“This is Trump country — and they need your help,” DeSantis pitched Trump.

“They love me in the Panhandle,” the former president said. “I must have won 90 percent of the vote out there. Huge crowds. What do they need?” Shortly after the conversation took place, Trump signed an executive order commanding the federal government to cover “100 percent of the total eligible costs” related to the hurricane response.

Shortly before he took it upon himself to politicize the response to Helene, the former president threatened to withhold aid for natural disasters from Democratic strongholds.

“We won’t give him money to put out all his fires,” Trump said of California Governor Gavin Newson, a Democrat, in September. “And, if we don’t give him the money to put out his fires. He’s got problems. He’s a lousy governor.”

Seriously wtf

Considering they used a priest for predator it would’ve been funnier if they used an immigrant for the alien

I never really got the “heart stop = dead” thing like yes, if you’re heart stops you’re going to die, but even when someone is beheaded, they are still conscious enough for a few seconds to blink their eyes in response to questions. It’s when the electrical signals in your brain stop that you’re actually dead, not your heart.

I mean on one hand I do think it’s fair that with him abandoning the game with taking it off stores and not using it all for him to lose the trademark. On the other, I think it’s bullshit someone else can then claim it. It should just be public domain

Ok so this headline seems a bit misleading after reading the actual article itself. They basically did two sessions one with a placebo and one without for every participant and looked at their brains response to pain under LSD. They only saw how the drug changed the pain response/neural pathways while on the drug. They didn’t do any testing on any lingering effects post-session. To me “reshapes the brain” implies some kind of long term effect like vapes can from just one hit.

Eh this may be a third variable problem. From what I’ve seen, everyone who probably would’ve been someone to smoke just vapes instead now
