Preston has been great for us. Last season we had some injuries to the defense. Stokes, Campbell, Gary all missed time. The biggest problem over the last few years has always been run defense and soft cover schemes. Hoping Wyatt, Slayton and Ford step up and the new rookies(Wooden and Brooks) as well.

I think we run more this year. LaFleur always says we need to run more, and yet would abandon the run last season. Could have been Rodgers or his play calling or both. Either way our backs are our strength on offense. The oline is better at pass blocking than run blocking, but are still a capable unit. Interested to see how the run game goes with lazard and Lewis gone.
Starter at te day 1 over Musgrave and Kraft. He knows the system and has played well with love. The rookies will work into mix as the season progresses. I think Musgrave will be in slot a lot to start.
He has handled this whole situation well. There was some grumblings about a trade if Rodgers stayed as the only thing. But he seems like a good dude and is putting the work in. Everything is set for him to succeed. Just a matter of getting him in there and playing now.
