Yeah, you could very well be right! Would you, on the other hand not think their oil reserves etc are enough to be able to finance themselves? (genuine question, I don't know enough about the situation!)

Ik (we) zijn 13 jaar geleden vertrokken naar Edinburgh voor werk, in eerste instantie was het de bedoeling voor een paar jaar, om buitenland-ervaring op te doen (wetenschap). Maar het beviel (en bevalt) ons zo goed dat we veel langer zijn gebleven. Wellicht dat we ooit terugkomen, maar zoals TurboTurbo ook aangeeft is het klimaat qua onderzoeks geld / beurzen hier net even iets gunstiger dan in NL.
Not sure where we are off to, but I'm off to Oban! ;)
