Is anyone else going to the public opening on July 6? Do you think this is worth going to? Will it help convince the power-that-be to actually find a permanent use for the space?

Don't know what that link is, but if you're talking about the Veterans Memorial bridge, the link is

And the community is invited to talk with local leaders tomorrow, Friday June 23 at 5pm, and it's open to public for self-guided tours Saturday June 24th starting at 10am.

It's definitely worth checking out once if you have free time. These tours have gone on annually for almost twenty years so I don't know if it'll convince anybody of anything. Can't hurt
