I'm trying to create a bodice block/sloper. I feel bad going through so much calico but I know it will save time and fabric in the long run.

I've been procrastinating taking in the waist on a few pairs of jeans. Need to make some curtains too before summer is in full swing.

I'm recovering this chair at the moment. I have some green furnishing fabric I got at the second hand store a while ago which I am using. So far I have cut out the fabric pieces and sewn the pieces that need to be done by machine, there is some hand stitching and working out how to do the buttons to go. I'll be posting photos when it is done.

A pillow. I have some buckwheat hulls left over and traded some fabric.

Will be working on outdoor cushions as soon as I get home! Not started yet, so no picture to share, but I might post here once they're done.

I would love to see what you do - that's one of the projects I would like to do if I can get the time.

I'm making a flannel Hey June Cheyenne shirt! Which is a little silly for going into summer, but it was cut out in winter and abandoned for other things and I'm trying to finish it up now so it's not just taking up space.

I'm also planning a bodice block but need to get my partner to help with some of the measurements. I feel you on the waste of the muslin, but, like you, I'm hoping that it saves more in the long run!

In my "to mend pile": a pair of trousers which needs the legs shortened, a button down shirt where I want to flip the worn collar over, and one where I want to add extra buttonholes to the cuffs, because I like to wear cufflinks occasionally.

I have set some time aside for all that tomorrow and wednesday.

Hi. A newcomer here. My current project is foot-tailored cork sandals (because my feet are too wide for the ones from shops).

That looks like a really intersting project. Is the cork an inner sole, or is the sole entirely of cork?

It's a sandwich of moulded cork between two thin sheets of cork. For the soles I'm using linoleum as a first try.
