It's called Hawaii and California when it isn't burning.

Many mountainous zones in otherwise tropical-weathered countries have permanent spring/autumn weather.

For me it is

autumn = sick all the time or the kids are sick or the people you try to meet cancel because they got sick.

Winter = too cold, don't want to go outside

Spring and first half of summer = nice

Second half of summer = wasp season, can't enjoy anything outside due to fear of dying of wasp allergy

Nowadays, here it goes from hot sticky summer to too cold then back to hot and sticky then back to cold all in one week. Gone are the days of opening the windows.

Autumn is a period where the weather goes from too hot, to constant rain, to too cold.

You mean leaf burnin' season?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

Winter = yay cute jackets and scarves, but oh no, I live in Australia and work from home and rarely go outside, so there are about three days where I do venture out and it's cold enough to wear my cute winter clothes.

On the coldest nights, I keep warm by thinking "at least it's not summer".
