Yeah pretty much. I’m not going to 100% say Pascal can’t be a good Reed, because sometimes unlikely choices end up working out. I’m just not convinced he got the part based on his merits as Reed rather than the fact he is popular right now.

FWIW if we are picking currently popular actors, I’d have gone with Anson Mount, but what do I know.

The bigger problem is I don’t know what the MCU is doing anymore. There’s no throughline with waves of buildup, or anchor characters the way the RDJ and Chris Evans managed to portray. It’s just a stream of nonsensical color and recursive weird writing. The same thing that turns a lot of people off of comics.
