I work for a General Contractor and yesterday aftrr work my boss text me a link to a time clock app and told me that I need to put it on my phone and start using it. He also says I need to turn on the GPS to always. Doing some look-see about the app, it would have access to my folders, photo gallery, contacts etc. And it would track me 24/7. The data is not encrypted or secured.

I have a major problem with this, he wants me to put it on my personal phone. We don't have company phones. I called him and explained to him I do not feel comfortable putting an invasive app on my personal phone, and it turned into an argument with him telling me he doesn't understand and it's not a big deal. After telling him I wouldn't have problem if it was a company phone but I will not put it on my personal phone. The call ended with him not totally understanding and me still not putting this damn thing on my phone.

Am I wrong with my stance?
