I figured I'd post this. It's a great way to get an LLM set up on your computer and is extremely easy for folks that don't have that much technical knowledge!

The default model is not very good. I tried gpt4all-l13b-snoozy and is better. Anyway I only tried these two models. The installation and setup is easy. Thanks for sharing.

I'm very excited for the future of machine learning right now. I was cynical about it for a short while in mid 2022, since I got the impression that it was all going to be proprietary, privacy-invading online services, but things look like they're changing.

A future of democratized open-standard and open-source AI sounds like a good one to me!

It seems very interesting. Can I set this free on an open source project and ask it questions about the code base?

I'm not sure it is quite there yet, but it does have a localdocs plugin. I haven't played with it too much so I can't really comment on it.
