My cat recently decided to go to town on one of my ELAC speakers. I contacted their support in order to buy a replacement driver, and they straight up sent me one for free :)

So, shoutout to ELAC for a very pleasant customer experience.

Unfortunately I had no luck at all with ELAC support last year when trying to get a defective speaker replaced. They completely ghosted me, not even a single response.

They are Elac Debut B6.2 that I'm using near field at my desk. The left channel woofer is clearly internally damaged from shipping as the bracket is bent slightly, and the woofer makes buzzing noises from 40Hz to 2Khz. With music that is complex enough, I don't hear it. I still wish they would of done something. And the acoustic foam was completely misplaced and covering the port on both speakers, so I had to get my hand in there to fix that.

awesome, but tbh they're german and germans seem to be very ''proper'' and willing to do their job properly so i'm not surprised you got excellent support, still nice tho because of course its not granted
