Doubt it, at least in official capacity. FBI focuses on internal matters, CIA is international. Fediverse platforms are international by design. Maybe CIA agents are here, but I doubt FBI would br

Funny but this is probably a better format for government agencies, or any significantly large organization really. If I'm understanding how this works correctly they can host their own instances they 100% control instead of being at the whims of some random tech bros.

Yep! And several EU agencies have set up their own Mastodon instances for the same reason.

Makes sense to me. It's the same as setting up your own email servers, most individuals and even organizations probably don't need to worry about it but for those that do controlling their own data is essential.
