The sad truth is that we all need to pay more taxes to pay for the infrastructure, doctors, nurses and teachers we need.

Yes, I've been saying for years. I'm happy to pay more tax if it means it gets spent on the things that matter. Just need confidence that the money gets into the right hands and we're not just paying tax to pay a bunch of people to sit around and talk about things and then dismiss any good ideas that come out of it.

Or worse, our tax money being siphoned off by private provider leeches positioned between the government and the service, delivering shitty services because they're really there to make a profit.

I was surprised the calculator said my tax burden would decrease, I feel very fortunate and comfortable right now.

Huh, I get +70/wk because kids and pay -43/wk extra tax. A bargain at twice the price.

It's is definately weighted in almost everyone's favour.

Except all those temporarily embarrassed millionaires, whom are against this for idealogical reasons.
