I got the recipe from a dutch website. Pear cake recipe

He has a lot of great recipes on there.

Basically the butter is made of:

  • 200 gr almond paste, home-made or bought
  • 150 gr butter, room temperature
  • 100 gr soft brown sugar
  • zest of ¼-½ lemon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 4 eggs, at room temperature
  • 185 gr flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 (hand) pears, peeled and core removed

And when the cake is finished you cover it with heated apricot jam.
