Preparation for the 2023 NFL season continues as the Green Bay Packers welcome the New England Patriots to Lambeau Field on Saturday.

The Packers were big winners in their first preseason game of the year, claiming a 36-19 victory in Cleveland against the Browns. Sean Clifford had himself a game for Green Bay, racking up 208 yards and a touchdown on 20/26 passing — although he did throw two interceptions. The Packers' other quarterback in that game, Jordan Love, was 7/10 for 46 yards and one TD.

As for the Patriots, they were on the wrong end of their preseason opener, falliing 20-9 to the visiting Houston Texans. The Pats did not score a touchdown in that game, so the news that Ezekiel Elliott has signed with the team should give New England some hope that the offense won't be barren this season.
