Is there any news from Vivaldi for the possibility of a Flatpak release for Linux?

Very unlikely. They claim Flatpak is not secure enough for them due to how Flatpak sandboxing works.

Well that's a shame because I really value the sandboxing. Will stick to Ungoogled Chromium for now but continue using Vivaldi on Android and Windows
