Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

What I have: Jerboa on Android, currently showing a post.

What I want: that "<" share symbol that lets me send the URL of the current post (or a specific comment) to another app on my phone (e.g. email, sms, etc) or to the clipboard.

I think that Jerboa just has not implemented this yet - right?

You're right. Jerboa can't do that yet.

You can however press the three little dots under the message and then copy the link in order to paste it into the mail or whatever. Not as elegant as a share dialogue, but it does the trick

That's perfect thank you. I had not seen that menu, I am still learning.

Next to comment button is three vertical dots. Copy permalink.

No, not exactly as the "share to app" function at least. But in the three dots menu under the post there's "copy permalink", that should do it? You just need to paste the URL manually in the target app.
