In addition to "Survival Mode" I've also heard this called "Crisis Management". Not sure if that's what you were looking for.

When social workers intervene in situations like this the practice is called 'Crisis Intervention' so depsite harsh sounding conotations I believe this meets crisis criteria.

I guess "abide" (to bear patiently) and "endure" (to remain firm under suffering or misfortune without yielding) would both work, though neither has an inherent notion of time.

No idea how toxic, noble, or whatever the site may be, but I will point out they call themselves "Art of Manliness." So, they probably lean into that pretty hard.
