Does this remove them from search engine results too? Otherwise it's much less useful.

See my comment about using it with uBlacklist, which does exactly that. By default it is configured only for google search but you can enable other search engines in the options.

Thanks!

Edit: holy shit! Useful results from Google!

Read the linked github page. It's got a full guide per platform.

There’s instructions and an instruction video in the link for adding to uBlock Origin Firefox extension. Also says uBlacklist (Firefox and chrome extensions), PiHole(raspberry pi set up to filter traffic on your network), or AdGuard(browser extension and app).

You can probably implement with a router blacklist if your router supports that but that’s beyond my knowledge

I do run a PiHole. Though I concede I don't know really how to customize it very much. I will check out that instructional.

For use with uBlacklist (hooks into search results to filter stuff out): https://github.com/laylavish/uBlockOrigin-HUGE-AI-Blocklist?tab=readme-ov-file#manual-import-1

I just tried it with ublacklist and it removes things from duckduckgo after enabling it in the settings as explained in the link above.
