So many people have left Reddit. I set up a knew community so you can tell us why you did.

Tell us how we at Exploding Heads and the Lemmyverse can serve you better and avoid the same mistakes.

I first came here to support the blackout on Reddit. I wasn't sure at first if I would stay here on Lemmy if Huffman had backed down.

But except for the terrible homepage of constant refresh hell, I like it here very much. I found most of my communities, and a will to rebuild our network on a healthy base. So from a pure service standing point, it has been a compelling experience already.

I never was a Twitter user, but when it collapsed into the far-right mess we all know, I felt the need to do something and created an account on Mastodon. Unfortunately it didn't last long before I let the account die because I had no use of it.

It bothered me, because I wanted to do something for the cause. We have an opportunity to create the Internet we were dreaming of in the early 2000's but was stolen from big corporations and advertising.

Then Hoffman blew it. I heard of Lemmy. Came here. Loved it.

I'm a lemmie now. I just deleted my Reddit account

I left reddit because reddit is the bottle that contains wine made by us. Now I prefer to put the wine I create in a decentralized bottle.
