In Sid Meiers Civilization, a cheap and effective mechanism of weakening your enemies is partisan violence. Empowering the vocal minority is US foreign policy 101. Why is it so hard to imagine the same happening to America.

This fool is afraid of fucking EVERYTHING. weird.

Because this guy is white. He must be one of the good guys.

"mandatory masks" should be followed by "except when he fears showing his face"

That's a bandana. It's open from the bottom to allow him access to life-affirming COVID-19 particles.

What really upsets me is the bare arms, which are defenseless in the event of a vaccination assault by the local far-left antifa immunologist community.

Hey! He has the right to bare arms!

“Anyone knowing my identity because the views I have are so outrageously unpopular, I would lose my job and be shamed out of existence if anyone know who I was”

This is 100% my mom. She will brag about her guns and how tough she is, but at the end of the day she’s terrified of everything.

It definitely affected my childhood because she didn’t want me to do anything because the world is scary and I might get hurt.

My dad was drafted into Vietnam at 19, so once I went to university he was like ‘this is stupid’ and would send me money to pay for things like flying lessons because a) he had been a pilot and wanted me to do it, and b) he was sick of her rules.

So his outlook was pretty much I was doing this thing at your age, you’re old enough to live your life, you’re smart enough to make (mostly) the right decisions, and when you don’t, you need to learn life lessons if you want to grow and survive as an adult in the real world.

I never finished the flying lessons because I realized it wasn’t for me and I wasn’t enjoying it, but I had to do it first in order to know that.

My Dad was awesome and I miss him a lot. Thursday will mark 15 years. Sorry, this is off topic, and TLDR growing up with these people as parents sucks.

It doesn’t include the most dangerous one; pronouns.

[–] irreticent 17 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

What's funny about all that "I don't do pronouns" absurdity is that they don't realize how ignorant it makes them look. I mean, they use pronouns all the time.

"She needs to get back in the kitchen." -Ignorant Incel

"He needs to force her to have the baby even if it kills her." -MAGA fool

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Misgender them once and see how fast they decide pronouns are important after all.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

My favorite is to start using they/them after they declare they don't use pronouns. Gets them FUMING cause most of the time they know if they correct you they're fucked

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Why didn’t you include the full quote?

“I won’t live in fear because I’m an alpha!”

[–] irreticent 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It's not mine; I just found it online.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

I know, I just made that other part up lol

  • Facts

  • Non-white

  • Non-naturally born US Citizens

  • Other people's freedom

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)
  • Seasoning
  • Anything over 10 scovilles
[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

Some of them want all the Scovilles, because it proves what a macho manly man they are. There's no in-between, though. You have either "This mint is too spicy" or "I want this hot sauce to put me in the ER".

Thanks for alphabetising this 🙏

If only we could get them to be less afraid of everything that they're unfamiliar with, or familiar with everything they're afraid of, maybe they would lash out in fear less.

[–] irreticent 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It's almost as if their fear of education is stifling their ability to function well in society.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Do you think the decades of western media low key incepting kids that "school is boring! Math is hard! English class sucks!" played any small role in the mass delusions of intellectual superiority that the alt-right prides themselves with?

[–] irreticent 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

In my opinion the worst one is "This is what actually happened" in history classes when it becomes revisionist history. Seriously, just teach what actually happened!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 2 weeks ago

But then white kids will feel bad about what their ancestors did.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

He also fears non-cis people, Anarchists, leftists, centrists, neoliberals (a right wing ideology), being paid a fair wage, worker ran economies, Unions, civil liberties, peace, countries defending their national sovereignty, Neurodivergant people, disabled people, most Europeans (as in people that live in Europe), native Americans, Asians, South Americans, Central Americans, and most likely if applicable his own children (who most likely despise him).

[–] irreticent 2 points 2 weeks ago

Wow, I think you just described my grandfather.

Invention of the internet so we can share knowledge and what do we get? Wind turbines cause cancer in whales

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt 5 points 2 weeks ago

And makes frogs gay

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

I find a tiny solace in knowing that when this internet age crashes and it becomes a dark age, most of the nonsense will be wiped away. (Along with all of the real knowledge, unfortunately)

[–] RizzRustbolt 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Don't forget the most awful thing ever invented: Toliet Paper.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That just a trick to get you to put your fingers near your ass and turn you gay.

[–] irreticent 3 points 2 weeks ago

‘It just seemed the norm to me. Skid marks were a part of life.’

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

Showing his face

[–] irreticent 2 points 2 weeks ago

I think so.
