Curiously, Texas has been leading the charge thanks to our artificially high energy prices.

Nat Gas collusion has made wind and solar pay huge dividends.

I didn't realize how big of a solar state we were until I drove out through west Texas. At one point the rolling planes turn blue and you stop and realize it's solar panel farms for miles.

It's free money. You'd be crazy not to put up panels at $.20/kwh

Unfortunately my apartment complex wouldn't be too keen on me mounting panels on my street facing balcony lol

Obviously, the trick is to be a West Texas land baron, rather than an inner city renter.

What?! But I was told renewables were going to cost us jobs!

Renewables’ EROEI will be sufficiently low compared to now such that the need for human powered manual labour will vastly increase. More jobs!

(Note, the EROEI on non renewables will be effectively zero, as they will be gone, so there isn’t a choice)

Is it weird I immediately recognize this guy because he competed in the electrician games or whatever it was called? Me and a tradie friend sat and shat on everything they did because working on a jobiste after the electricians and the plumbers means you're cleaning up their mess and fixing everything they did wrong, or at least pointing it out for them to fix it.
