Do people from Toronto also hate Toronto?

[–] Kyle_The_G 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

yes. source: Torontonian. It is a cool city with lots to do and awesome food but the entire city is under construction and traffic is insane. Also rampant bike/scooter/car thefts and whatnot.

It also costs as much as Vancouver, while being not Vancouver.

Ya van is awesome.

Yes. Source: Me. But I grew up in Montreal, so I'm biased.

If anybody truly hates Toronto, it's Montrealers.

It's hard to tell if there was a green pixel that just got JPEG'd away. Could be.

But also, maybe? They seem to be unaware there's other places.

Correction: Alberta also hates Alberta

And O'toole isn't head of CPC anymore

Yeah, it's an old map. The spirit still applies, though; just sub in "Poilievre".

I'm not sure what you mean by Alberta hating Alberta.

Alberta is a diehard right wing province that has had conservative rule for something like 42 of the last 50 years.

We also have a massive American influence crowd sporting confederate flags, Maga hats, flags, and stickers.

Were also steamrolling towards privitized healthcare, deregulation of environment rights, and legal bribery.

So yeah, Alberta hates 'rural' Alberta for putting us through this shit repeatedly

IIRC Calgary has voted pretty blue at times. There's people here that hate the direction we've been going, myself included, but I don't really think we can claim to be representative.

Good news is, I have trouble imagining a scenario where Nenshi loses the next time around.

You're totally correct. Red deer is also a usual blue but occasional wild card.

Elections can't come fast enough. Stay strong fellow Albertan ❤️

I've visited Canada and this is accurate.
