yeah or you can run UTM and have it host your VMs.

I run UTM on my MBP for work and have several Linux VMs.

I also run a VM, but its windows in the guest, and only when a customer sends a MSSQL dataset I need to work on. Other than that, bareback Linux all the way baby.
