Mine, too. We call it the roast chicken position.

Thanksgiving turkey was what we called it when our child did that. He’d crisscross his feet too. He’s six now and still does it now and then. Except when we’re camping and he sprawls out and chases us around the tent in his sleep.

"How do you sleep at night" is the proper follow-up question

Classic Dutch beach volleyball sleeping positions

Right click the bed when there are no monsters nearby of course. What kind of question is that?

Funny one. I even read it the totally predatory way at first

Why are all the side sleepers all curled up?

[–] spiffpitt 4 points 2 months ago

bent knees are more comfortable

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

How else? I'm in bed right now and trying to lay on my side with straight legs I have to use some weird muscles in my body to keep myself from falling onto my belly or back

Before even falling asleep I tend to rotate through 2, 3, 17, 1, 16, and 9

In addition to a modified recovery position with my top arm resting behind me to keep my chest flexed outward. -It's an anxiety thing.

I guess 9 is the closest, but I would never sleep on my face/stomach. I sleep on my side but not curled into a ball, with a pillow between my knees and the one under my head folded to keep my spine aligned. It's a very specific pose but literally anything else and I can't sleep.

Is there a silently sobbing in your pillow before a rousing round of sleep paralysis position?

It's quite cold right now that I'm scrunched up like number 4 or 12

I start out as a modified 18 +with crossed arms gripong the shoulders and interspersed with a number 4
