I got the cf card working... never got around to the floppy drive again

At first I thought the first part of your title and the 2nd part were related and I was really curious how and why you were using a floppy drive to move posts from one website to another.

Same. But I'm still confused why someone would feel the need to make an announcement like this.

It's less an announcement and more an explanation for the spam of posts

I doubt it's seen as spam. Right now everyone wants more OC posts, which you have. You're obviously not a bot so you probably have nothing to worry about.
