I mean, it's great that I moved up to Emerald League, but these are low top scores and I don't quite feel like I earned this position.

@favrion I feel only pearl, onyx and diamond ranks require work to place in top 7

I guess it depends where everyone else is up to in "your" league, too?

Because I can consistently come 1st in the Onyx league with a middling amount of effort, but it's a battle just to stay out of the demotion zone on Diamond. 😅

I've been taking it easy with Duolingo lately. I was pushing 3k a week but I started back at Uni for the first time in literal years (maybe 4? 5?) and it is taking a lot from me. So one lesson a day now.

I mostly stick to perl. I don't have as much time/energy for duolingo as I would like.

Oh, I thought you had meant another app called Perl.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. Maybe one day I'll use perl, but today is not that day.
